Matthew and Revelation 13:10

Matthew 13
[10] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
[11] He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
[12] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
[13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
[14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
[15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
[16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
[17] For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Revelation 13
[10] He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Peace Peace

Unfortunately there is no religion I know of which actually produces peace. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and the rest have been slaughtering each other for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years. As far as I know, two communist countries have not attacked each other, but they seem comfortable slaughtering their own.

Luke 17:[20] And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
[21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Matthew 14:1 Revelation 14:3

Matt 14
[1] At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

Rev 14
[3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Tetrarch means one of four rulers, which matches up with the four beasts. Herod is on the throne and hears of Jesus, but in Revelation we know that Jesus is on the throne for eternity. In both books kingship is mentioned or implied by tetrarch and throne.

Jesus is God

Jesus never said these words, "I am God! Tremble before me puny earthlings!" Still, Christians, like myself, run around saying that Jesus is God in a flesh body. Maybe we're deceived. Maybe we're alone in a vast universe, and our tiny little brains are crying out for meaning. Maybe an advanced species of intelligent life forms are monitoring us. Okay. Maybe atheist are simply more highly evolved, and are comfortable with the inevitable uselessness of it all.

Here is the basic fact. The game is set up so that none of it can be proved. No one can prove that their view is correct. All religions have an angle. Some event or series of events occur to convince a person or small group that they are on to something divine. They have found the answer, and everyone else is LOST! Damned for all of eternity. or something.

So, if you were born into a particular faith my recommendation is that you stay the course, unless you feel deeply compelled to switch to something else. I also recommend that if your faith teaches killing civilians that you run to the nearest exit. It just doesn't make any sense. The only faith where that makes any sense is a faith that believes humans are a virus infecting Mother earth, and must be eradicated. In this case I recommend that you change faiths or start with yourself. Leave the rest of us out of it. Mother earth is a big girl, she can handle herself.

John 20:
[28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Come on, admit it, only an insane deluded person would give the response that Jesus gave, unless he was God in the flesh. Was Jesus insane or God? Some have argued that Thomas was simply saying OMG, but I'm pretty sure the Jews of that time would have considered it breaking the third commandment, taking the Lord's name in vain.

John 14:
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

It is worth studying this whole passage and drawing your own conclusion.

Moses in the law commanded us 17

And lastly, what if we convinced all of mankind to completely devote all human combined effort to finding the tablets for one year? The total, over the top, all out, no holds barred assault on finding those broken stone tablets! We take down all the barriers and pocket all the ego, and just give it every thing we've got. Of course, I still get to keep one.

Moses in the law commanded us 15

Here is another great idea. Sit in a heavily armed yacht off the coast and fly an armada of drones around with hi-tech stuff on them "looking" for the tablets. They probably need to be able to penetrate the top 4-8 feet of dirt. No need to look through rock, unless they have lodged in a horizontal stone crevice. Use multi-phased wide array hierarchical scanning lasers or something. Or, low density x-ray spectrography. You know, hi-tech stuff.
